'People's Campaign' Will Feature Vanunu
The U.S. Campaign to Free Mordechai Vanunu returns
to Washington this summer for activities that will culminate in September
in a one-day Conference followed by a vigil and rally at the Israeli embassy.
The campaign has teamed up with four organizations
sponsoring events in Washington as part of the U.S. Fellowship of Reconciliation’s
six-week-long “People’s Campaign for Nonviolence.”
Here are dates and sponsoring organization of event
at which the Vanunu campaign will have a presence:
- Thursday, July 20 - Jewish Peace Fellowship.
Speakers include Rabbi Phillip Bentley, organization president. Vanunu

- Thursday, July 27 - Pax Christi USA. Speakers

- Saturday, Sunday, July 29-30 - Episcopal Peace
Fellowship. Speakers will include writer Coleman McCarthy and Sam Day,
coordinator of the U.S. campaign. Events will include a Sunday vigil at
