Mordechai Vanunu is one of
30 internationally known writers whose work appears in
Peace is Possible, a 154-page book published this fall by the
International Peace Bureau and edited by its vice president,
Fredrik Heffermehl of Norway. The selections include I Am Your Spy,
the poem written by Vanunu in Israel’s Ashkelon Prison.
“There is no greater obstacle to peace than the widespread belief that it is impossible,”
wrote Heffermehl. Therefore, he decided to ask leading peace activists to tell
their stories.
Translated into five languages,
the English version is available at $20, $15 for IPB members
and low income people.
