Crackdown by the Defense Ministry Security Department
from Ha'aretz, May 12 2001:
The DMSD's crackdown on any revelations about Israeli
nuclear capabilities now includes a recent decision that on convicted nuclear
spy Mordechai Vanunu's release from prison in 2004, after serving an 18-year
sentence, Mordechai will not be allowed to leave the country, and will
be placed under constant surveillance. If suspicions arise he is trying
to reveal information about Israel's capabilities, he will be rearrested
and tried.
