Worldwide Vigils for Vanunu - Norway

The Oslo-vigil at noon on Sept. 25 at the parliament "Stortinget" was carried through by a few, but enthusiastic demonstraters from Nei til atomvaapen (No to Nuclear Arms), Norges Fredraad (Norwegian Peace Alliance) and Kristent Fredslag (Norway Fellowship of Reconciliation) on a nice sunny September day.

We handed out a flyer and came into talks with the passers by. The venue made the vigil very visible. To my knowledge there was no press coverage of the event.

As we rigged down and folded our banners, it was a good feeling to know the vigil was to be continued in the next time zones.
