The Israeli Embassy expressed to a recent delegation that they do not appreciate letters supporting Mordechai and calling for his release. The best reason, therefore, why you should continue to write to the Embassy supporting Mordechai in the strongest possible terms.

Another reason to contact the prison is to ask why they have confiscated Mordechai's travel CD/radio clock. We bought this special clock for Mordechai, with your donations, at his request. Now we learn that he is no longer allowed to keep the clock because it has an alarm!
