Perhaps I should add a brief note of our remembrance in Duluth at the Minnesota Pax Christi state assembly.

Some 75 people had gathered to hear Ken Butigan of Pace and Bene speak about "At the Crossroads: Nonviolence in a Time of Permanent War." Before the afternoon session, we prayed (alternating men and women) a blessing for Mordechai which was followed by a discussion of his courage and commitment.

Two birthday cards were signed with messages and sent off with much love and energy.
