Vanunu to Detention Center for Questioning, Not Charged Nov 17 04 by Rayna Moss Mordechai Vanunu went to the Petah Tikva detention center for questioning at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, as requested by authorities. He said that they had no new material against him nor any new charges - they just kept asking about his previous interviews, and he repeated that everything he had to say about nuclear weapons he said in 1986. Mordechai also reported that the police returned some of his DVD's and other items, but not his computers. He was told he would perhaps get those back next week. The 7 days of house arrest issued when he was re-arrested on November 11 expires tomorrow, November 18.  |
